Case of the Year

This 51 year old white female complains of gradually diminishing vision and worsening floaters over the past 1-2 years. She also notes that colors appear washed out and that she has difficulty adapting to dark environments.

On examination, acuity was 20/25 OU. She correctly identified 9/15 color plates OD and 12/15 OS. Anterior segment examination was normal OU. Numerous light-colored spots were seen throughout the right fundus as shown below. Similar findings were seen in the left fundus.

What’s your diagnosis? What diagnostic tests would you order, if any? What treatment would you recommend?
